Tasha Fisher

PATH FORWARD PROGRAM MANAGER

After obtaining her MSW and five years of social work experience, Tasha Fisher came on staff at Love Columbia in 2017 as a Service Coordinator in the Path Forward program. She became the Path Forward Program Manager in 2020, the year before Love Columbia relocated to downtown Columbia and served a record-breaking number of clients.

Since becoming manager, she has seen her program double in staff size while managing a 40-client caseload of her own and, on occasion, serving as a field instructor for the MU School of Social Work. She is involved in the community in civic, church, and school activities with her three children.

Jadlyn, a teen studying for her HiSET, says, “I’m proud to have Tasha as my Service Coordinator. She doesn’t judge me for my problems, and she’s been supportive of my pregnancy and helped me find resources that I need. When I need to talk to someone, I know I can count on her to be there for me.”

Between pandemic-related stresses, inflation, and the housing crisis, Tasha has navigated Love Columbia’s core program through uncharted waters with dedication and compassion.
