Conrad Hake

PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Conrad Hake has nineteen years of experience in non-profit administration, three of those years in program management at Love Columbia where he currently serves as the Program Director. He is a HUD-certified housing counselor and was instrumental in obtaining HUD approval for Love Columbia as the first Housing Counseling Agency in Columbia. He is president of the Boone County Coalition to End Homelessness and has served four years on the executive team of ForColumbia, a community day of service mobilizing volunteers to benefit civic projects and low-income households.

In addition to holding an undergraduate degree in education and an M.A., Conrad is in his final year in the Master of Social Work program at the University of Missouri. His research interests have included policy and practices in homelessness, income-based and transitional housing, and trauma-informed care. Conrad is a native Missourian with Kansas City roots. He has lived in Columbia since 2002 with his wife and three children.
