The Caring People

The Caring People is a national organization founded in 1997 to establish support group networks for Single Moms in local communities.   The organizations motto is to walk the love of Jesus into the hearts of single moms.  Each week single moms are provided with a one and one-half hour support group that includes food and childcare.  The groups include instruction, inspiration, an opportunity to meet and make new friends and enjoy various recreational activities together.  For more information regarding this ministry go to The Caring People website:  www.thecaringpeople.org

Love INC brought The Caring People to Columbia in 2011.  Karen Sinn, Love INC Life Coach Coordinator, was chosen to serve as The Caring People Regional Director.  Karen is working out of office space at Love INC adminsitrative building.  She can be reached at 573-825-2869 or 574-442-4285.  Her email address is: ksinn@thecaringpeople.org.  Cheryl Harrison is our city-wide administrative team coordinator.  She can be reached at charrison@columbia.k12.mo.us.
